Aromatherapy is a popular but sometimes
underestimated practice. Aromatherapy is more
than "a therapy using aromas"; it's also about
the chemical constituents of the essential oils.
These chemicals affect our mind, body and soul
in very definite ways, from vaporising them to create
a mood, to embalming ourselves or to fight infection.
Essential Aromatherapy discloses the depth to which
this amazing therapy can be applied and used to
influence a multitude of human states. Students in
the HLT42707 Certificate IV and HLT51407 Diploma
courses will learn the professional use and application
of aromatic oils, the conditions they are best used for
and the necessary way of monitoring the progress of
the different stages of therapy.
HLT42707 Certificate IV in Aromatherapy is made up
of content initiating from basic knowledge increasing
in a way that will integrate your competency to advanced
understandings. This HLT42707 Certificate IV in
Aromatherapy has practical components, anatomy &
physiology, communication skills, business management
and first aid. At this level you can practice as an
Aromatherapy therapist being able to be registered with
the Australian Aromatic Medicine Association Inc. With all
the privileges that go with this.
